Contagious bird flu case being 'monitored and contained'

Interview: Dr. Amar Patil, NJ state veterinarian

The first case of bird flu at a New Jersey live poultry market has been confirmed. The state Department of Agriculture said the case came from a live bird market in Union County, although it wouldn't divulge the exact name or location. State veterinarian Dr. Amar Patil says the risk to humans in New Jersey remains low.
