Over the past few weeks Ocean County has led the state in the number of new cases.

New Jersey was already dealing with a resurgence of the virus before President Donald Trump's COVID-19 diagnosis. Over the past few weeks Ocean County has led the state in the number of new cases. Of the 796 new positive tests reported Friday, 190 came from Ocean County alone. The statewide cumulative total is now 206,62 with four new deaths and 16,131 total lives lost.
